Taqdir does not nullify our free will and choice

Question:

If our fate (taqdeer) has already been written then why will we be questionable at the time of “Qayamat”?

Then why will we be accountable?

(Nauman Farooq, Rawalpindi)

Answer:

Taqdir does not mean that our free will has been nullfied. It is part of taqdir that we will commit such and such acts by our free will. Since the acts are done by our choice, they are subject to reward or punishment.
